This is not a casual ride. 300 miles through the Mojave, including the Kelso Dunes stretch, Amboy Crater, and a lunch stop at Roy's on Route 66 before heading home via the 247. Fuel up before you go — stations are 80+ miles apart in stretches.
Bring your own water. Desert temps swing 40°F sunrise to midday. No sweepers — you're responsible for your own machine.
